Sheriff Watson announces promotions and transfers

Sheriff Clovis Watson Jr. remains busy working on transitioning and building his supervisory team. Yesterday, he made the following Promotions, Transfers, and Acting Assignments. All become effective on Sunday, July 4th.
Lt. Jon Schabruch will be appointed as an Acting Captain assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division.
Captain Robert Stafford will be promoted to the rank of Major assigned to the Department of the Jail.
Lieutenant Brandon Kutner will be promoted to the rank of Captain assigned to the Office of Professional Standards.
Lieutenant Rebecca Butscher will be promoted to the rank of Captain assigned to the Patrol Operations Division.
Sergeant Heather Phillips will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant assigned to the Patrol Operations Division.
Sergeant Scott Ulrich will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant assigned to the Patrol Operations Division.
Deputy Sheriff Robert Townsend will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant assigned to the Patrol Operations Division.
Deputy Sheriff William “Frank” Williams IV will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant assigned to the Patrol Operations Division.
Captain John Richman will be transferred from the Office of Professional Standards to the Patrol Operation Division.
Captain Darrell Bessinger will be transferred from the Patrol Operation Division to the Policy & Accreditation Unit.
Captain Lori Stophel will be transferred from the Policy & Accreditation Unit to the Criminal Investigations Division.
Sergeant Charles Drake will be transferred from the Patrol Operations Division to the Judicial Services & Training Division-Training Bureau.
Lieutenant J.P. Hood will be transferred from the Patrol Operations Division to the Civil Bureau.
