Sheriff’s Office seeking to identify suspect in Harbor Cove robbery

On March 13, 2020, ACSO responded to Harbor Cove (6815 W. University Ave.) in reference to a robbery. The elderly victim stated that, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the above subject approached her and asked for a cigarette.

After a short conversation, the subject became hostile, grabbed her beige-colored purse that was hanging on her shoulder, and attempted to pull it towards him. Following a brief struggle, the victim fell to the ground, and the subject ran off with her purse.

He was last seen running towards W. University Ave. and is described as wearing a black hoodie, a light brown beanie with a red spot on top of it, and long black pants. The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall and believed to be in his late 20s.
