Southbound I-75 closed in southern Alachua County

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A southbound  tractor trailer (hauling vehicles) has overturned on the west shoulder/ woodline of I-75 at the 372 mile marker. Two persons in a minivan that was involved were killed.

Currently, all southbound lanes are closed at the scene. Southbound traffic is being detoured off at two locations: 1- at CR 234 and 2- at Williston Road.

Motorists should seek other routes until further notice.
