Square dance classes start Thursday, Sept. 5 in High Springs

HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Modern Square Dance is a fun way to get a little exercise for your mind and body, and socialize, too. Classes begin on September 5, 7-8 p.m., at the High Springs Civic Center.

New to dance? Don’t think you can dance or don’t think you like to dance? We have all been there!

Show up on Thursday night, Sept. 5, with a willingness to give it a whirl. Steps are instructed one at a time and then sequenced together by the caller for an interactive dance experience. Dances include lively, upbeat music and a laser light show! Just kidding about the laser light show, but the music gets you on your feet. Simple line dances are also instructed weekly.

This is a 12-week progressive series. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Dress is casual.
Your first class is free. $5 per nightly class.
