Start of Early Voting POSTPONED to August 6 due to storm impacts

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The start of Early Voting for the 2024 Primary Election has been POSTPONED until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6 due to Tropical Storm Debby.
All eight early voting locations, including the Supervisor of Elections Office, will be closed on Monday, August 5. This decision was made with the interest of the public, election workers, and staff in mind. Early voting is still scheduled to end on Saturday, August 17 at 6 p.m.
All Alachua County Offices, including the Supervisor of Elections Office, will be closed to the public on Monday, August 5.
Though the office is closed on Monday, August 5, voters can still request a vote-by-mail ballot online at VoteAlachua.gov at their convenience. The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the Primary Election is Thursday, August 8 at 5 p.m.
Our office continues to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Debby and will provide an update if a further postponement of early voting is required.

What about Garbage pickup, has there been in notification of a delay, common sense tells me that there is/will be, but, I don’t know how much common sense is available to the ones responsible for it????
