Telephone Town Hall about COVID-19 Thursday invites questions in English and Spanish

The City of Gainesville will host a telephone town hall on Thursday, March 26 at 6:45 p.m. to update our community about recent efforts to halt the spread of COVID-19. Questions in Spanish are welcome. ¡SintonÃzanos en español!
Answering questions from our community will be Gainesville Mayor Lauren Poe, Alachua County Chair Robert “Hutch” Hutchinson, Alachua County Department of Health Administrator Paul Myers, and Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce President CEO Eric Godet.
Neighbors with landlines are encouraged to register in advance through this link to receive a call back at the time of the event. The event is open to everyone by phone regardless of district. Registration closes two hours before the start of the telephone town hall.
The telephone town hall will be streamed live on Facebook, the City of Gainesville website and on COX Cable TV12 and will be archived online. Visit us online for updates and answers to frequently asked questions about COVID-19.
