The Frazer School shines at the Sunvite National Circuit Tournament

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Frazer School (TFS) Speech and Debate (S&D) team performed outstandingly at the prestigious Sunvite National Circuit Tournament hosted at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL.
Competing against over 1,200 students from more than 90 schools nationwide, our 15-member team showcased remarkable skill and determination. Peter Moywaywa excelled as a semifinalist in Congressional Debate, while Ann Moywaywa reached the quarterfinals in Impromptu Speaking. Jaganesh Ramakrishnan made it to the octofinals in Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate, demonstrating impressive prowess. Pia Dudas captivated the judges with her speech on The Grapes of Wrath, securing third place in the Middle School Public Address, while Selena Dexter also placed third in the Middle School Student Congress. Notably, Jalen Zheng, Logan Wu, and Armaan Seth showed exceptional courage by competing at the varsity level, taking on high school competitors despite being middle school students.
The TFS S&D team displayed remarkable growth, resilience, and commitment, making TFS proud. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Danny Swerdlow, Director of Arts at NOVA, for giving our team the incredible opportunity to participate in this prestigious event.Â
