The Junior League launches “Every Woman. All Things.” initiative to address women’s mental overload
Press release from The Junior League of Gainesville
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — On October 10, in honor of World Mental Health Day, The Junior League of Gainesville is proud to join the nationwide launch of Every Woman. All Things., a new initiative dedicated to elevating the conversation around women’s mental well-being and the challenges of mental overload.
Women today face unprecedented pressures, balancing careers, caregiving, financial responsibilities, societal expectations, and the often-invisible labor that goes unrecognized. Every Woman. All Things. seeks to start a meaningful conversation, raise awareness, and provide resources that support women in managing these challenges.
“For 90 years, The Junior League of Gainesville has been rooted in serving the community and addressing its most pressing needs. Every Woman is the next chapter in that legacy — shining a light on the silent weight of mental health overload that so many women carry. This initiative is about creating space, resources, and community where women can breathe easier, feel supported, and know they are not alone,” said Melissa Zawada, President of The Junior League of Gainesville, Florida
