Three more bomb threat charges added to former Buchholz student

Preston Blake Powers, 18, has been charged with three more counts of making false bomb threats.
Powers, who was 17 at the time, was first arrested on September 13, 2021, and charged with possession of cocaine, making false bomb threats, and using a two-way communication device to commit a felony. He was charged as an adult on those charges on September 29, but the cocaine charges were later dropped. The first two counts of bomb threats were for incidents on August 19.
Powers has now been charged with three more incidents, on August 16, September 1, and September 7; all of the threats were made to Buchholz High School. Powers is being held on $15,000 bail.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.Â
