Two Eastside students arrested in bomb threats

This morning, detectives arrested Eastside High School student Ta’Nasia Robinson, 16, of Gainesville and charged her with two counts of making a false bomb threat, two counts of using a two-way communications device to commit a felony, and two counts of interfering with a school function. The arrest is in connection with the threats received at the school on September 28th and October 5th.

Detectives also arrested Eastside student Demarcus Payton, 15, of Gainesville and charged him with making a false bomb threat, using a two-way communications device to commit a felony, and interfering with a school function. His arrest is related to the threat at the school on October 1st.

Detectives continue to investigate a threat received at the school this morning around 8:40 a.m.
