Two Ft. White women transported to the hospital after Sunday evening accident near NW 39th Ave. and NW 43rd St.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two Ft. White women were transported to the hospital last night after a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of NW 39th Avenue and NW 43rd Street.

According to a Gainesville Police Department spokesman, at about 7:30 p.m. on October 26, a Toyota sedan driven by a 42-year-old Cross City man was traveling southbound in the 4400 block of NW 43rd Street, and a Honda sedan driven by a 62-year-old Ft. White woman was traveling northbound. For reasons that have not yet been determined, the vehicles collided in the median.

The Ft. White woman and her passenger, a 35-year-old Ft. White woman, were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
