Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure appoints Shannon Domeier Sumerlin as Executive Director

ALACHUA, Fla. – Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure announces the appointment of Shannon Domeier Sumerlin as its new Executive Director. Sumerlin brings more than 20 years of experience in mission-driven advancement, strategic partnerships, and experiential fundraising.
Sumerlin most recently served as Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships at the University of Florida In that role, she led the university’s first comprehensive corporate engagement strategy and spearheaded the multi-year partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars, increasing UF’s reach on the international stage through strategic, high-profile partnerships.
Rick Staab, President and Founder of Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure, emphasized the impact of this leadership transition, saying, “Shannon brings a level of expertise and vision that will significantly strengthen our work at Tyler’s Hope and strategically expand our reach and impact.
