UF Baseball: Florida Earns No. 15 National Seed; Welcomes Miami, South Alabama, and South Florida to Gainesville Regional

No. 15-national seed Florida welcomes No. 2-seed Miami, No. 3-seed South Alabama, and No. 4-seed South Florida to Florida Ballpark in this upcoming weekend’s Gainesville Regional, scheduled for June 4-7

No. 15-national seed Florida is set to welcome No. 2-seed Miami, No. 3-seed South Alabama, and No. 4-seed South Florida to Florida Ballpark in this upcoming weekend’s Gainesville Regional, scheduled for June 4-7. Having received the No. 15 national seed and No. 1 seed at the Gainesville Regional, the Gators will take on South Florida to open up NCAA Regional play on Friday, June 4, at 12 p.m. ET with coverage on SEC Network.

With the NCAA announcing the complete 64-team bracket and pairings on Monday, Florida earned a spot in an NCAA Regional for the 36th time in program history. Overall, 2021 represents the 17th time that Florida has hosted an NCAA Regional.

From June 4-7, 64 teams will compete across 16 NCAA Regional sites to determine which 16 programs will advance to NCAA Super Regionals, scheduled for June 11-14.
