UF Facility Services Holiday Parade will travel through campus on Dec. 19

Press release from University of Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The fourth annual Facilities Services Holiday Parade will be on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m. The parade will travel through campus, pausing at each Baby Gator location and Shands Children’s Hospital.

Participating in the festivities will be UF Facilities Services, UFPD (University of Florida Police Department), and first responders from around Alachua County. The parade will feature holiday-decorated fire trucks, utility equipment, and a special appearance by none other than Santa Claus himself.

“Facilities Services is excited to bring the parade to the children at the Baby Gator locations and the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital,” said Senior Director of Operations for Facilities Services Gregg Clarke. “Seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s and parade participant’s faces creates a holiday spirit for everyone to enjoy.”
