The Gator duo of Nya Reed and Trinity Thomas claim Southeastern Conference gymnastics weekly honors after opening 2021 competition last Friday at Auburn.

Reed shares the SEC Specialist Gymnast of the Week honor with Alabama’s Makarri Doggette. This is Reed’s first such honor of her Gator career.

Thomas is starting 2021 just as she left 2020 – as the SEC Gymnast of the Week.

Dating back to the 2020 campaign, this is Thomas’ eighth consecutive SEC Gymnast of the Week honor. She’s claimed 12 SEC Gymnast of the Week honors in her career.
