Florida fell to #10 Kentucky tonight, 65-59, at Rupp Arena. The Gators pulled within 2 near the end of the game, but Kentucky made clutch free throws in the final minute to win the game.

Notable:

  *   Keyontae Johnson led the Gators with 19 points and 9 rebounds, nearly recording what would have been his 4th double-double in 5 games. Over the past 5 games, Johnson is averaging 16.0 ppg and 9.0 rpg.
  *   Kerry Blackshear Jr. finished with 18 points and recorded the 1,500th point of his career. The grad transfer had 1,152 points at Virginia Tech before joining the Gators.
  *   Florida limited Kentucky to its fewest points of the season (previously 67), but could not overcome 16 turnovers.
  *   Noah Locke saw his 3-pointer streak end at 24 consecutive games with a 3-pointer, tying the 7th-longest in UF history (Anthony Roberson).
