The Gators scored a season-low 17 points and committed 11 turnovers in the first half to go into halftime down 15 (32-17). After falling behind by 19 with 11:59 remaining, the Gators attempted to mount a huge rally. Florida got within 1 just under the 3:00 mark but could not get over the hump. UF already has a pair of 20-point comebacks on its record this season (22 vs. Georgia, 21 vs. Alabama), both at home.

  *   Kerry Blackshear Jr. had his 7th 20-point performance of the season, going 7-for-10 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free throw line. He also had a game-high 9 rebounds.
  *   Noah Locke finished with 15 points, including 3-for-6 from 3-point range, and continues to hover around the 50 percent mark in SEC play from long range (45-for-91; .495).
  *   Tre Mann provided a 2nd-half spark, scoring all 9 of his points over the final 11 minutes of the game.

The Gators play at Georgia on Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m.
