UF Men’s Swimming & Diving: No. 5 Florida Takes Down No. 23 Auburn

Gators record strong performance on the road
No. 5 Florida (2-1) defeated No. 23 Auburn, 158-142, on Saturday at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center.
The Gators entered Saturday’s meet competing for the first time as a whole squad since Nov. 18-20 at the Auburn Invitational, where they defeated the Tigers, 521-426, at the three-day meet.
UF won nine of 16 events and produced several more top-three performances and B-cut times.
Florida will now prepare for the SEC Championships, which will be hosted in Columbia, Mo. on Feb. 17-20 (Diving) and Feb. 23-26 (Swimming).
