UF Men’s Tennis: Florida Selected as No. 1 Overall Seed in 2021 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship

Gators will host South Alabama, Duke and South Florida
Florida was selected as the No. 1 overall seed in the 2021 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship, the NCAA announced on Monday night.
The Gators won the Southeastern Conference regular season title, going undefeated at 12-0 in conference play with a 20-2 overall record.
UF will host South Alabama, Duke, and South Florida. It will take on the Jaguars on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and with a win would play the winner of the Blue Devils and the Bulls on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
Duke and USF will play at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday prior to the Florida match.
The Ring Tennis Complex will serve as a dual site for the opening rounds for the first time since the 2017-18 season as the Florida women’s team was also selected to host.
Both the men’s and women’s first and second round competitions will feature a four-team bracket, with the winners of each pod advancing to the championship rounds at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., May 16-28.
Selections for the NCAA Division I Singles and Doubles Championships will be announced Tuesday evening.
