A late goal gave Louisiana State soccer a 2-1 win over Florida in a neutral site match at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

Sunday’s scoring:
LSU took the lead into halftime when Reese Moffatt scored in the 41st minute.

Florida’s Beata Olsson tied the match up in the 69th minute. The goal started when Parker Roberts won the ball at midfield. She found fellow senior Madison Alexander who threaded a great ball to Olsson. The freshman scored her third goal of the spring with a shot to the far corner.

The game-winning goal came from junior Molly Thompson off assists by Moffatt and Maddie Moreau. It was Thompson’s fifth goal of the season.
