UF Volleyball: Gators Set for NCAA Second Round

Florida will face Morehead State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ET

The eighth-seeded Florida volleyball team begins the 2020-21 NCAA Tournament with a second round matchup against Morehead State on Thursday afternoon after the Eagles defeated Creighton in the first round Wednesday evening.

First serve is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN3 and the match can also be heard on the airways of 98.1 FM/850 AM.

Florida (19-3, 19-3 SEC) and Morehead State (17-1, 15-1 OVC) are facing one another for the first time in program history on Thursday.

The Eagles are coming off a five-set win over Creighton in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday afternoon, while Florida’s last contest was a 3-1 win over Texas A&M on March 25.

The Gators are looking to make their 27th trip to the Regional Semifinals and overall, Florida is 26-4 in second round games during its 31-year NCAA Tournament history.
