UF Volleyball: McKissock Earns SEC Freshman of the Week Honors

The freshman libero averaged 3.57 digs per set in the two wins over Texas A&M

After finishing off the regular season with a series sweep against Texas A&M, Elli McKissock was named SEC Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Over the course of the two matches, McKissock averaged 3.57 digs per set, 1.57 assists per set, and 0.43 service aces per set.

In the first match on March 24, the Windermere, Fla. native recorded seven digs, four assists, and one service ace in the three-set victory.

McKissock tallied a team-best 18 digs in the four-set win on March 25, while also dishing out seven assists and two service aces – tying her career-high mark.

The Gators await their NCAA Tournament fate when the Selection Show airs on Sunday at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
