GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Monday will again be hot and dry, but temperatures will start dropping on Tuesday and are forecast to be a few degrees below normal by Thursday. There is no rain in the forecast on Monday. The tropics are quiet, but forecasters are looking at a potential storm in the southern Gulf of Mexico about 10 days from now.
