GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Thursday’s high of 92 is forecast to be a little cooler than Wednesday, with only a small chance of rain. The National Hurricane Center is watching a system in the Atlantic that could develop into a major hurricane in the Caribbean in the next 7-8 days; most models show it moving into the southern Gulf of Mexico, but some models show it curving back into the Atlantic, and only one model has a track toward Florida right now.
