GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Highs will be in the low 90s for the next few days, and there is a good chance of rain late Friday afternoon. The National Hurricane Center is watching Invest 95L, which has a 70% chance of developing into a tropical storm in the next 48 hours. The storm is predicted to move through the Caribbean into the Gulf of Mexico and is not currently expected to impact Florida.
