Zeta Phi Beta Sorority hosts virtual mental health symposium on Oct. 10 to confront the stress of being black in America today

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In recognition of National Mental Health Awareness Day, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, the Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter, will host a powerful virtual symposium, titled “REAL TALK: Confronting the Stress of Being Black in America Today.” This event will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (ET) via Zoom and is free and open to the public.

This engaging and timely panel discussion will highlight the mental health challenges uniquely faced by the Black community, explore the long-term impact of stress and trauma, and provide meaningful tools for resilience and healing. To foster education, empowerment, and awareness, the symposium brings together professionals and community voices, including:
