Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter hosts ‘Pearls, Petals, & Pours’ sisterhood tea to benefit Anew

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter invite members of the Divine Nine sororities to an afternoon of elegance, fellowship, and philanthropy at “Pearls, Petals, & Pours: A Sisterhood Tea” on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. This exclusive event will take place at The Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center, 837 SE 7th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601.

This event is reserved for members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of sisterhood over tea while supporting Anew, a nonprofit dedicated to ending sex trafficking and exploitation while helping survivors reclaim their lives.

“We are thrilled to bring together our Divine Nine sisters for an event that celebrates unity, empowerment, and service,” said Yvette Carter, President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter. “This gathering is more than just a celebratory event—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting Anew and their critical work in our community.”

Guests are encouraged to wear sorority afternoon elegance and pearls to complement the event’s theme. Tickets cost $50.00, with proceeds benefiting Anew in the names of the Divine Nine sororities. 

Formerly known as Created Gainesville, Anew has reached over 3,800 women affected by sex trafficking and exploitation since 2012. The organization is dedicated to restoration, healing, and providing survivors with the resources to build a new future.
