Arreola? You people are willing to risk this state’s future on that idiot?
City of highly educated voters my ass.
Democratic primary voters are idiots in this state. Of course they voted for that fool
at least there is a chance to vote against him in November still with Chad Johnson.
Or scratch that. it looks like Raemi Eagle-Glenn ended up winning Rep Primary in the Official results with 51.26% compared to 48.74% for Johnson. but still a choice.
Johnson won. Eagle-Glenn won Alachua County but lost overall in the district.
You are looking at just the Alachua County numbers. Chad Johnson won with about 66% of the overall votes.
I’d vote for a turnip before I cast a vote for Arreola.
He’s a pure socialist and we know what becomes of every government founded in socialism.
Congratulations Thomas Vu!!
Only time will tell what type of board member he is.
Will it be, “glad we voted for Vu,” or “Vu sure fooled you.”
He will not turn out to be a good one. The entirety of the democratic machine was for him.
Only Certain people did.
Expect more division and blame.
Will McGraw go down without a fight? Can’t she sue somebody or something?
seems there were enough people that just wanted her out to pass over all the muckracking that was done towards Thomas Vu.
I have trained Big Mama McGraw right and she will “slip and fall” on an uneven stair on her way out. Just like our Stupervisor of Elections did after she begged that church to be a polling place. Now thanks to me she is going to catch a check aka: the ghetto lottery.
Yes! Vu! Even though I don’t know much about you, you got my vote. Because almost everything is better than the BIG DUMB WOKE your opponent represented.
Too bad that mcnealy was reelected though. 🙁
What’s so sad is only 36k or 22% of the population represents this vote….so enjoy the win so the real WoKeNess is replacing The chair. You will see the mess that follows because those that elected this former (accused) teacher will regret when he has to keep his promises and Try to help his progressive supporters. Get your popcorn 🍿 folks it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
I think you’ll regret the vote.
at least they are posted here. supervisor of elections site is giving a warning that it’s not Secure. 😉 🙁 and something about a certificate from Clay County Supervisor of Elections. WTF?i
Why does a non-partisan job like the sheriff have primary run-offs?
How /why would their party affiliation matter in doing their job?
It is all about the policies they embrace. Do they coddle the criminals or full force go after them? Do they do more community outreach than law enforcement? Will they uphold the Constitution of the United States?
Yes. Are they a party of Law and Order, or a party that nominates a convicted felon as their presidential candidate.
because in Alachua county they treat it as a Partisan race, with some other charter offices as well.. 🙁 and there was a write-in that ran to have it a closed primary.
AS FOR ME I DONT TRUST THE RESULTS. WITNESSED CHEATING IN THE 2016 ELECTIONS AND WITNESSED NO CHANGES IN VOTING PROTOCOLS.
Talk to your legislative reps and the governor. They’re the ones that make voting protocols.
All of these folks who did not win should go pick up their campaign signs. It’s the right thing to do.
I am excited that Vu won his election. Anyone is better than the fraud that is McGraw.
This election shows why the county voters need to get rid of single member districts in November. Alford got elected with a total of 1715 votes in one district, now she can cram her woke clueless spend spend spend agenda on the entire 280,000 people in the county. This is NOT democracy. This is tyranny by the minority.
Without SMD’s, Alford would have won by a much larger margin…. It pays to understand the benefit of SMD’s
She didn’t win. She won the Democratic nomination for the seat. She will face Liz Doebler in November.
Lol guess who voted for single member districts _ not anyone who voted for Alford! Just go home and cry…
“This election shows why the county voters need to get rid of single member districts in November…”
We got rid of them last election cycle.
Hats off to Alachua Chronicle for publishing the unofficial primary results. The Gainesville Sun had not a word about them.
What is the Gainesville Sun? Is that a news paper?
No, it’s a leftist agenda propaganda rag.
No we can all concentrate on electing Kalamazoo as president. Day one she will lower grocery prices. In addition those who loot and burn will not have to post bail. Many thanks to gov walk wife who loved smelling the burning tires in Minneapolis during the 2020 riots. Too bad for mcgraw.
Use to be, complete has-been now.
We will never get anyone good in Alachua county, way too many democrats.
