32-time convicted felon arrested at Northside Park with trafficking amounts of drugs

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Alvin Lee Strain, 56, was arrested last night and charged with trafficking in phenethylamines after allegedly having marijuana and a trafficking amount of “molly” at Northside Park.
A Gainesville Police Department officer made contact with Strain at about 10:15 p.m. last night because of a sworn complaint for domestic battery that had been filed in November 2022. A search incident to arrest reportedly produced 82.5 grams of a white rock-like substance that tested positive for MDPV (identified as “molly” by Strain) and 40 grams of marijuana in eight separate plastic bags; the search also produced a digital scale and empty plastic bags inside Strain’s backpack.
Post Miranda, Strain reportedly said he gives drugs to people who want them; he also said that all the drugs in his backpack were for his personal use.
Strain has 32 felony convictions and 24 misdemeanor convictions and has served 12 state prison sentences, with his most recent release in March 2022. Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $100,000 for possession of more than 10 grams of phenethylamines, $15,000 for possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a park, and $2,500 for domestic battery.

Eylis, I don’t believe any have been convicted of “domestic terrorism.” They are guilty of being stupid, naive, gullible idiots for taking action, albeit extreme, on Trump’s words. They were lemmings to him; difference was, he knew better than to get personally involved.
I believe the same naive, gullible, idiocy lies in those who appear to be in favor of the far left policies and attacks on the US Constitution that are being implemented not only in Gainesville but across this nation.
That’s my opinion and everyone has one. Problem is, not everyone has common sense.
