ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A 77-year-old Archer woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on SR 26 on Friday afternoon.
At about 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, the woman was a passenger in an SUV driven by an 82-year-old Archer man. The SUV was traveling west on SR 26 and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto CR 241. A pickup truck driver by a 51-year-old man from Riverview was driving through the intersection and collided with the SUV. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene from her injuries; the two drivers suffered minor injuries.
Not the intersection but the stupid drivers! Second fatality there so far!
That’s why they call them accidents. They can all be avoided but the intersection should have offsetting turn lanes. Have some compassion, someone’s loved one died.
Thank you! Came here to say this. A family lost a loved one and another is hanging on at the hospital.
Where is your compassion and empathy? Or is it strictly your goal in life to go to news articles and post your absolute nonsense? Someone lost their life in this accident and another is fighting for theirs in the ICU. What is genuinely WRONG with you?
You’re an idiot.
