ACPS statement on governor’s announcement

We are aware of the statements made by Governor Ron DeSantis today regarding the state’s plans to lift restrictions on organized activities for children. However, the state has not issued any executive order or guidelines, and the governor has said that he would not prevent local governments from making their own rules.

That being the case, it is too early to say whether the governor’s statements will have any impact on our graduation ceremonies, summer programs, and/or other activities.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and communicate with local government and other community partners. As soon as we have additional information, we will notify you.
