Alachua County and municipalities announce tarp distribution locations

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County Emergency Management has a website listing hurricane recovery resources, including tarp distribution in multiple locations.

As of October 4, the following locations and times have been announced for tarp distribution:

• Gainesville – Leveda Brown Transfer Station, 5115 NE 63rd Avenue
  • Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, 7 a.m. – noon while supplies last
• Gainesville – Depot Park Overflow Lot, 10 SE 10th Avenue
  • Oct. 5, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. while supplies last
• Archer – Alachua County Rural Collection Center, 19401 SW Archer Rd
  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday; 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. while supplies last
• High Springs – High Springs Fire Department, 18586 NW 238th St.
  • Oct. 5, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
