ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County Animal Resources (3400 NE 53rd Ave., Gainesville) will not open until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, due to an internal holiday lunch. The regular hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Remember, they have hundreds of unadoptable pit bulls for you to adopt as Christmas presents. And yes, the emergency room is open Dec. 26 after your cute Christmas puppy chews your face off.
