Alachua County Clarifies How the Governor’s Executive Order-20-139 Changes County Emergency Order 20-25
June 4, 2020

Press release from Alachua County
All businesses opened in the Governor’s order may open in Alachua County at 50% occupancy and are subject to OHSA and CDC guidelines. The County still requires retail, grocery stores, and gyms to remain at a maximum of 50% occupancy, groups in public to be ten or less, and facial coverings in businesses and outside where social distancing is not possible.
The County may want to re-read their order because is specifically says that movie theaters cannot open.
Local leaders want to remind you that they are still very much in charge regardless of what the governor says.
