GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Democratic Party will host the 26th Annual Lawton Chiles Gala on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the University of Florida Hilton Hotel and Conference Center at 1714 SW 34th St, Gainesville, FL.
The featured speakers will include gubernatorial candidate David Jolly and Florida House Representative Angela Nixon (District 13).
The event is sold out.

“An analysis by the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank, found that 3,597 people were killed in politically-motivated attacks between Jan.1, 1975, and Sept.10, 2025. Nearly 3,000 of the deaths came from the Sept.11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
