“The event will begin at 9 a.m. with breakfast and live music” Can I get toast, sausage and eggs easy over with a prosecco mimosa? Will the music be for riverdance clogging? Once upon a time Armstice/Veterans day was solemn occasion to recognize too early and very ugly deaths of thousands of soldiers. Now it’s a chance to witness exhilarating skydiving!
Why don’t you stay home and smoke dope
Maybe you’re thinking of Memorial Day, which remembers those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans’ Day is to celebrate the living, so why shouldn’t it be exhilarating?
We are all indebted to our Veterans. They deserve our gratitude, respect and honor. Thank you all, and God bless each and every one of you.
