Alachua County Legislative Delegation public hearing to be held on Jan. 9

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Legislative Delegation will be holding its annual public hearing on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Joseph W. Fordyce Building (R-01) on the campus of Santa Fe College at 3000 NW 83rd Street in Gainesville.

The Legislative Delegation includes the Delegation Chair, State Representative Chuck Brannan (R-Macclenny), along with Delegation Members State Senator Jennifer Bradley (R-Fleming Island), State Senator Stan McClain (R-Ocala), State Representative Chad Johnson (R-Chiefland), and State Representative Yvonne Hinson (D-Gainesville).

The Delegation Hearing is intended to afford local residents and officials an opportunity to request legislation or state funding, as well as to express opinions on any other matter of state concern, in advance of the 2025 Regular Legislative Session, slated to begin in Tallahassee on March 4, 2025. This hearing is open to the public.
