AR Homes® Opens New Modern-Inspired Custom Home in Oakmont

Press release from AR Homes
AR Homes®, the nation’s largest franchisor of independently owned and operated custom homebuilding companies, has announced the grand opening of the new Ascona model home in the Oakmont master-planned community.
Built by Barry Rutenberg & Associates, the Ascona provides 4,244 square feet of air-conditioned living space and 5,835 total square feet with a highly desirable open-concept design with an expansive great room. This home includes four bedrooms, four and one-half baths, and a den, plus a bonus room that may be converted into a fifth bedroom, media room, or a home office.
“The Ascona features a modern elevation with clean lines and contemporary materials,” said Mario Vitorino, Director of Design for AR Homes®. “This new spacious design uses extensive glass with pocketing glass doors extending about 50 feet all the way across the main living area, kitchen, and casual dining leading to the outdoor area, creating a wide open, welcoming home.”

The well-appointed kitchen is centrally located just steps off the great room and offers a walk-in pantry and large island with seating, making it an ideal place for entertaining family and friends.
For overnight guests, there is a Guest Suite conveniently located just off the main entry with a wet bar and separate seating area. Other features include high ceilings throughout the home.
The spacious Owner’s Suite is tucked away in the rear corner of the home, offering the ultimate in privacy. The Owner’s Suite features a walk-in closet and a beautifully appointed bathroom.
“Throughout the home, Ascona features an organic, modern design which combines organic wood elements with very modern furnishings,” said Cathi Lane, Director of Interior Design for AR Homes®. “The colors reflect muted earth tones with light woods that warm up the space.”
The outdoor living area includes a lanai and cabana with space for an optional outdoor kitchen and fireplace. Other features include a three-car garage with room for a third vehicle or extra storage. In the rear of the home, there is space for an optional pool with sun shelf and spa.
Located at 10992 SW 30th Ave., the Ascona is open for viewing Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (352)373-3405.

Hope there is more counter space and storage space than shown in the picture of the kitchen. That is not a realistic amount.
Beautiful home but I’m waiting for the more liberal trolls to chime in about housing affordability.
At a minimum waiting on one of Poe’s ponies to object to the structural footprint and how many homeless could be housed.
