ASO Combined Communications Center Director named 911der “Wonder Woman of the Month” for February 2026

Staff report

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Kimberly Kutner, Communications Director of the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Combined Communications Center, has been named “Wonder Woman of the Month” for February 2026 by 911der Women.

Kutner was nominated by Danika Lubold, who wrote, “Kimberly personifies what a leader should be in the public safety field, raising people up instead of tearing them down. She always looks for the good in people and looks at each incident or encounter as a learning experience. Morale is something she takes a lot of pride in, making the rounds on the floor almost every morning. She is also known for coming in early or staying late to spend time with our night shifts.

“Kimberly puts her people first. She works incredibly hard for her staff, making sure they are taken care of [and] recognized for their accomplishments, while making sure the citizens are put first. During any hurricane “lock-in,” Kimberly is in direct contact with our Emergency Operations Center (EOC), attending all of their meetings, even napping between them on the midnight shift to ensure proper planning and coordination for the Communications Center. Kimberly constantly works long days to ensure that her regular duties and meetings are attended to, but also so employees can enjoy time off whenever coverage cannot be obtained. She continuously fights for all employees, for raises, and for the needs of the Center. Kimberly ensures that all of her employees are provided development opportunities in order to better themselves professionally, but also personally.”

911der Women features one “Woman of 911” every month, in gratitude for the work they do.
