ASO investigating shooting of victim found at Palms of Archer

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ASO) is investigating a shooting that happened overnight.
The shooting was reported at about 3:15 a.m., and deputies located a victim at the Palms of Archer Mobile Home Park. The victim was transported to the hospital and is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries. It is currently unknown whether the victim was shot at Palms of Archer.
A potential suspect arrived at the scene while deputies were investigating and was arrested.
DeQuante M. Perry, 29, has been charged with Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon with an Altered Serial Number, and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. He is currently being held at the Department of the Jail and will go to First Appearance tomorrow morning.
Same old story, convicted felon, with gn, attempted murder. Misunderstood for his actions because of being demographically challenged. Gotta love the thug life.

My kids and grandson live out there, they said they heard the shots, now they are scared to even live out there anymore, and they just moved in there. I thought they were cleaning up the trailer park.
