GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Commission will conduct a special meeting on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. in the Grace Knight Conference Room on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville).
The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), the county’s Facebook and YouTube sites, and the county’s Video on Demand website.
The meeting item of interest:
- FY25 Budget Development Departmental Review 3 and FY25 Budget Development Final Review staffing charts, schedule of fees, Capital Improvement Plan, budget, millage, tax rates, assessments finalized
If they adopt anything over the roll back millage rate, it is a tax hike. The county Minister of Propaganda will be here shortly to deny and mislead the citizens. It is what “Alachua County” does.
