Beverly Hills man killed in rollover crash on I-75 of SUV with six occupants; three passengers suffered critical or serious injuries

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A 33-year-old man from Beverly Hills, Fla., was killed this evening in a rollover crash, a 30-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were critically injured, and a 13-year-old girl was seriously injured. Two other juveniles suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
At about 5:35 p.m. on March 10, an SUV with occupants from Beverly Hills crashed in the southbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 382. The driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The other five passengers were transported to the hospital: a 30-year-old woman with critical injuries; a 13-year-old girl with serious injuries; an 8-year-old girl with minor injuries; a 6-year-old girl with critical injuries; and a 5-year-old girl with minor injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol release, the adults were not wearing seatbelts, and the seatbelt status is listed as “unknown” for all of the juveniles.
Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash and was assisted at the scene by the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Alachua County Fire Rescue, and the Gainesville Police Department.
