Blizzard Treat purchases at Alachua DQ will benefit Children’s Miracle Network on July 25

ALACHUA, Fla. – American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), a leader in iconic treats and food, announced today that fans can make their trip to their local Alachua DQ more meaningful during Miracle Treat Day®. On July 25, the one-day initiative will help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, and Dairy Queen has partnered with the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to encourage support in Alachua. 

On Miracle Treat Day, when fans purchase their favorite Blizzard®Treat at participating U.S. DQ locations, $1 or more will be donated to local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Working together over the past 40 years, the DQ system has raised more than $180 million for local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. 

“By joining us on Miracle Treat Day, the Alachua community can help offer support and hope to children by simply purchasing a Blizzard Treat,” said Toks Achebe, with the Hesperia Dairy Queen. “We appreciate our community and partnership, and are honored to help make a visit to our DQ location extra special in support of a meaningful cause.”

To help spread awareness of the campaign, DQ is encouraging fans to share their own posts on social media beginning July 12 through July 25 (Miracle Treat Day) using the hashtag #MiracleTreatDay. Additionally, individuals can share Miracle Treat Day (#MiracleTreatDay) social posts found on the DQ Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok channels.
