Byran Williams announces candidacy for Alachua County Commission, District 2
Press release from the Byran Williams Campaign
HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Byran Williams is proud to announce his candidacy for Alachua County Commission, District 2, in the upcoming 2026 election. The official announcement will take place at a special event held at High Springs City Hall (23718 W. U.S. Hwy. 27, High Springs), where his 20 years of governmental experience began, on February 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Williams, a resolute member of the county, invites residents and supporters to join him in launching his campaign. “I am excited to serve the people of Alachua County and look forward to working together for a brighter future,” said Williams. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about his vision and priorities for Alachua County.

If he leans, trips, or even staggers to the right of any current idiots occupying space on the dais—he’s got my vote.
Unfortunately, in this blue-stained county within the state, he’s not likely to win.
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool then to speak out and remove all doubt.”
Or you can vote for the same types of idiots on the dais just to prove you are; defending them is pretty much the same thing.
This nothing negative about Bryan Williams. He will be in High Springs soon. He has served within the government of High Springs for many years. I think questions about the missing money should be asked of him. The three ring circle going on about this missing money actually started when he was here and that could be a deciding factor in his District 2 run. Vote for the best candidate not the best politician.
