WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) has joined more than 70 House Republicans in cosponsoring the SAVE America Act, the most comprehensive election integrity bill to date.
The SAVE America Act requires voter ID in federal elections and preserves existing requirements for proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote. Despite false Democratic claims, the bill does not disenfranchise women or minorities. Election integrity measures like voter ID are supported by more than 80 percent of Americans, including a majority of Democrats.
“This is a real issue with real consequences,” said Congresswoman Cammack. “The SAVE America Act does what voters want: proof of citizenship, voter ID, and common-sense limits on mail-in ballots. That’s not extreme, it’s responsible. If Democrats are blocking it, Americans should ask why.”
Congresswoman Cammack remains committed to protecting election integrity and ensuring every legal vote counts.
The SAVE America Act will:
- Require photo ID to vote in federal elections.
- Require proof of U.S. citizenship, in person, to register to vote.
- Remove non-citizens from voter rolls.
- End universal mail-in ballots, with limited exceptions.

She sure likes to make up problems that don’t exist. Been voting for over 40 years and never once did I not have to show my ID. But they want to try to use that excuse when they lose.
What is wrong with have to show identification to vote. If you are afraid to prove who you are maybe you are not eligible to vote. In your case for the past 40 years. Seems like a simple enough thing. I think you are worried that illegal trespassers will not be able to vote with a phony international identification card.
Nothing wrong with that. that is point. Been voting for over 40 years always had to show ID . Nothing changed. Memi is just trying to make up a problem that doesn’t exist. So when they lose they can say that non citizens voted. But we are know at least anyone with a brain that is not true. The FACT is that non citizens can’t vote. And this has been confirmed many times.
But I have seen people vote without showing ID in this county with my own eyes. And that was at polling place. When I said something the answer was by the polling person. “I KNOW HER” When I walked up it was ID and Voters Card. Now explain to me how that works. Mail in voting needs to be eliminated except for the military and disability. If you can walk you can vote in person period.
Repeated studies show that voter fraud is not a problem of any signifigance and that it will result in many legal voters losing their right over paperwork. It’s Republicans trying to suppress the vote, a tactic they have used in various forms for decades.

“In the highly contested state of Pennsylvania, Heritage data goes back 30 years and covers 32 elections with over 100 million votes cast and found only 39 cases of voter fraud.
The percentage of fraudulent votes in Arizona over the last 25 years of elections was a minuscule .0000845%, and no election outcome in the U.S. has ever been altered by ballot fraud.”
Tell me about Fulton County. Lol. Tell me about how people that are 110 -115 years old are still voting.

Look, this is easy. The federal fine for fraudulent voting is a felony conviction with fines of over $1,000.00. What idiot does that to gain 1 vote in elections decided by thousands to millions of votes?

Just like no illegal trespassers are voting either. How about the fraud from tge dooe smokers trying to get a petition through on the ballot? That just happened. Yet no whining protesters. Shows Florida Law Enforcement is doing their jobs working with federal agencies.

Showing ID to vote is not suppression – we have to show ID for all sorts of activities. Voting is an incredible right, and ensuring that only those eligible to vote actually can vote is an obvious and reasonable way to secure our elections.
BS. Look at the stats. Voter fraud is virtually non-existant – who risks jail and thousand dollar fines to change the results by 1 vote? Strict voter ID laws disenfranchise US citizens for no f..ing reasons. Not everyone has a driver’s license, passport, or birth certificate (the poor less likely), signatures can change over time and who are these signature experts checking, James J Suggs may be the same guy as J James Suggs. All these problems with strict voter ID enforcement happen, unlike James J risking jail and $1000 in hopes of making the difference in a state wide race.
The language in the bill forces ownership of birth cert, which some may not have – can you find yours? Women also need “Proof” of all name changes thru marriage & divorce, forcing one to complete MANY steps to qualify for new required ID. Current FL ID is not compliant with this law – we will all have to jump thru hoops even though we have voted for the past 40 yrs with a picture ID. Hence voter suppression language attributed to this frivolous bill.
They don’t want everyone voting Bill and Trump even said so.
