CFO Blaise Ingoglia announces his legislative priority to fight illegal immigration
Press release from CFO Blaise Ingoglia
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia announced his legislative priorities to further disincentivize illegal immigration into Florida and hold bad actors accountable.
Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia said, “Illegal immigration has scourged our communities. Too many lives have been lost, and too many people have been hurt as a result of illegal immigration. Florida has led the nation in fighting back against the mess that the Biden Administration created, but we must keep our foot on the gas and continue to disincentivize illegal aliens from coming to our state. I am proud to announce my anti-illegal immigration legislative priorities, and I look forward to working with the legislature and the Governor to get these proposals passed.”
Sheriff Robert Hardwick said, “The far-reaching impacts of illegal immigration have been felt by every community, and we must continue to take steps to protect the citizens of our state. I am thankful for CFO Ingoglia’s leadership and his commitment to ending illegal immigration into our state.”
Senator Jonathan Martin said, “Illegal immigration has negatively impacted every community in our state by rewarding criminals and victimizing law-abiding citizens. I am proud to support the CFO’s proposed legislation that ensures we are protecting our law-abiding businesses and families throughout the state.”
Representative Kiyan Michael said, “I know firsthand the tragedies that have resulted from rampant illegal immigration. In Florida, we have leaders who are not afraid to take a stand and do what is right to protect the law-abiding citizens of Florida. I am thankful for CFO Ingoglia’s continued efforts to stop illegal immigration to our state.”
Representative Berny Jacques said, “Florida has led the nation in fighting back against illegal immigration, and this year is no different. I look forward to working with CFO Ingoglia to get this legislation across the finish line and to protect Floridians from the high cost of illegal immigration.”
The CFO’s proposed legislation:
- Prohibits all commercial driving license pre-licensing instruction, testing, and licensing procedures from being given in any other language than English.
- Removes Illegal aliens as covered employees in the Workers’ Compensation statute.
- Forces any company that hires illegal aliens to pay out-of-pocket for any injuries.
- Requires companies to use E-Verify to submit a Worker’s Compensation claim.
- Prohibits illegal aliens from receiving any license issued by the Department of Financial Services.
- Stops illegal alien IDs from being used to create bank accounts with a state chartered financial institution and for cashier’s checks.
- Bans illegal aliens from benefiting from Down Payment Assistance programs and silent second home mortgage programs.
- Forces illegal immigrants’ insurance companies to accept fault if an illegal immigrant is involved in a car accident in Florida.

How is immigration the role of the CFO? He should be working on the insurance crisis.
Illegal immigration impacts the finances of the state and the citizens who live here (they make it more expensive). He’s doing his job, bravo!
Yep. The main problem around Gainesville is that King Ward and former King Poe encourage illegal immigration, they even tried to give them an official Gainesville ID card while I was still there. Myself and the City Attorney were against it but I think they did issue some, a “Government ID Card” for illegals or any immigrant without ID. Great! LOL…
“The fiancee of a Jamaican-born, decorated US army veteran who is now facing deportation under the Trump administration says she hopes his story might inspire legislative action to restore immigration protections for former military members.
“If you served this country, you deserve a chance to stay in this country,” said April Watkins, who is engaged to Godfrey Wade, one of tens of thousands who have been put in immigration detention under Donald Trump’s second presidency. “That is the hope for not only him but for any veteran who sits in a detention center. Look at their service that they gave this country and take that into consideration.”
Wade, a grandfather and US army veteran, was arrested for driving without a license in September and was then taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the federal agency tasked with carrying out Trump’s “mass deportation” program, local outlet KENS5 reported. He has been in ICE detention since….
Wade, 65, came to the US from Jamaica at 15 years old, eventually joined the army and earned commendations for wartime service as well as good conduct, as KENS5 reported.
He later received multiple college degrees and worked multiple jobs throughout his time in the US. He was working at a cafe when he was detained by ICE, KENS5 reports…”

Immigration benefits our economy and this constant demonizing of immigrants – native Americans commit crimes at a higher rate – is intended to scare the snow flakes, but will show up in a lower GDP. Don’t buy this BS.
I’d like to see the paperwork for someone named “Blaise Ingoglia.” I don’t think his family came over on the Mayflower.
Your point?
Campaign season has begun! Press release after press release to keep their names in public.
Wasn’t he going to DOGE all the blue Florida counties?
DeSantis and his cronies are the worst, we need to do better than these blow hards. Competency matters.
