CFO Ingoglia confirms Santa Claus and reindeer pass workers’ comp and Fire Marshal compliance checks

Press release from Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia announced that Santa Claus and his entire reindeer team have successfully passed all required workers’ compensation coverage reviews and State Fire Marshal compliance checks, clearing them for safe and lawful operations as they make their Christmas Eve deliveries across the Sunshine State.
Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal Blaise Ingoglia said, “Whether you’re running a small business or a global toy-delivery operation in the North Pole, Florida takes compliance seriously. I’m pleased to report that Santa Claus is fully compliant with Florida’s workers’ compensation requirements if his reindeer sustain any injuries on the job on Christmas Eve, and that his sleigh meets the safety standards required by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.”
The Department of Financial Services’ review confirmed that Santa maintains appropriate workers’ compensation protections for his seasonal workforce, including elves and reindeer, and that the sleigh’s lighting, landing procedures, and chimney-entry operations pose no fire or safety hazards to Florida homes. State Fire Marshal officials also verified that all onboard equipment, including gift storage and navigation systems, met safety expectations and posed no risk of sparks, embers, or rooftop damage.
CFO Ingoglia wishes all Floridians a Merry Christmas and a safe, joyful holiday season.

How fun.
