City observes Fourth of July holiday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In observance of the Fourth of July Fourth, City offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
Residential curbside collection for garbage, recycling, and yard waste typically picked up on Thursday will be delayed one day and picked up on Friday. Monday-Wednesday pickups will not be affected by the holiday.Â
The Regional Transit System (RTS) will provide its holiday service, which runs between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please visit the RTS website and schedule pages for more information.

The holiday is Independence Day. It happens to fall on the 4th of July.
The city did more to celebrate everything off the wall the past six months than the most important date in our history. It is so sad what the liberal left has done to destroy our country.
