City observes Juneteenth on June 19

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, city offices will be closed Monday, June 19.

The Regional Transit System (RTS) will provide its holiday service, which runs between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please visit the RTS website and schedule pages for more information.

Residential curbside refuse collection services will be not be affected by the holiday.

All three city pools will be open regular hours on the holiday.

All black/negros should be grateful for our constitution and reversal of involuntary servitude within a hundred years, but impeded by northern democratic and southern Dixiecrats liberals.     • Unfortunately the white population has a bullseye on their backs by some of the persistent victims in our society. Demonstrating the statistics showing the prevalence of black on black crimes and burning and looting from their own minority communities
      The liberal white politicians of the 60’s decimated. the strong black families with the absurdity of welfare.
      Now we have Black Lives Matter stealing the dues and crapping on their own people. Satan lives in this trash and most good people in the black community agrees.
