City of Alachua to host annual Independence Day celebration, Largest Small-Town Fireworks Display in America

ALACHUA, Fla. – The City of Alachua’s annual Fourth of July Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at the Legacy Park Amphitheater (15400 Peggy Road). Gates will open at 5 p.m.
Live music will be played by a local band, Whiskey Jones, and there will be several food trucks from which to purchase food and beverages on-site. The evening will conclude at about 9:30 p.m. with the Largest Small-Town Fireworks Display in America.
Please don’t bring your pets (service animals only), glass containers, or fireworks of any kind. This is a non-smoking event.

Tomorrow at the outdoor amphitheater. It’s said to be the “largest small town fireworks show” and I put my pay check that it honestly is. So long our kids, and many many others I could see, got bored of em towards the end!!! I think it was either 22 or 27 min long. And the entire time was like some other towns finally…and the finally was over the top crazy!!!
Yes, there is nothing more All-American than blowing up $50,000 worth of fireworks that were made in Communist Red China. Yee Haw.
Those same fireworks would cost $300,000 if they were made in the USA.
So China can make stuff for 1/6 the price that it can be Made in the USA. Can one of the local Economics professors of Magatard University kindly explain how Trump is going to Make America Great Again and enable the USA to make stuff homegrown and cheaper than China? We await your answer.
